Wizard names PIXU Best Self Published comic of 2008

The indie collective of Becky Cloonan, Vasilis Lolos, Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon upped the ante on the self-publishing end with this minicomic chronicling the lives and deaths of the residents of a haunted house. With each horrific chapter created by a different artist, PIXU (Pee-shoo) holds together incredibly well and has us salivating for the second volume.

PIXU is still available at Khepri.com, so get em whie they're still around!

Comic Attack 26

The weeks are just flying by!

I had a great time at the Big Apple con, Grampá came to visit so we got to hang out. His incredible book MESMO was released, so everyone should pick that up. I bummed at Ivan Brandon's table all weekend, and stole a granola bar from Andy Macdonald. Score! I also drew an awesome picture about the Damnation of Faust, and an awesome picture of Emma Frost, who is hot. Winning for everyone!

Also, I'm in Wet Moon 4!! I'm famous!! :D

Big Apple Comic Con

This weekend (and later on today) I'll be swinging by the Big Apple con in NYC (across from Madison Square Garden) to hang out, talk and visit with my friend RAFAEL GRAMPA!!! Who is in town for the release of his mind numbingly amazing book MESMO (AdHouse). Exciting! I'll be there later on today, later in the day Saturday, but I probably won't make it out on Sunday (a girl's gotta work! There's been too many cons the last few weeks!)

After this I'm running to the post office to mail out this week's orders of the Rapunzel Print (Mentioned in my previous post!). I've got some left, and if you order one this weekend it'll be shipped out on Monday. :D Email me at beckyattack@gmail.com to reserve a copy. If I don't get back to you right away it just means I'm at the convention, but I'll be getting to all emails when I get back tonight!

Busy days ahead!

Dark Horse Presents issue 16

Don't forget to check out Dark Horse Presents tomorrow for the debut of my new short story! I'm really excited about it, and I made a sweet wallpaper to commemorate the occasion. I know it might be a little big for some people, so feel free to crop it if you need to!

I'm still in San Francisco, I fly back to NY tomorrow evening. I can't wait to get back to my drawing desk, APE was a lot of fun and I left the convention with the Power of the Comicflame burning in my heart.

EDIT: OF COURSE I VOTED!!! I had to vote absentee because of my travels to the west coast. We've been glued to CNN for the past hour, and I'm about to step out for dinner. What an exciting night.
